I want to be like Papa!

Brooks decided last week that he needed to help Papa Tony paint the walls going up the stair case.  He got all dressed up and spent about 30 minutes "painting" the walls and I took advantage and did some laundry.  I did have to watch him because he kept asking if he could use the "real paint" so I was a little nervous because you just never know with Brooks...

NYC

NYC here we come!!

Last night we enjoyed our annual Christmas party with friends.  We had a great dinner at Dominick's then headed back to the White's and enjoyed our white elephant gift exchange.  Just after the gift exchange the night got really interesting.... Each of the girls received an envelope that we all had to open at the same time- I don't think any one of us could of imagined just what would be inside???  The husbands had planned a girls weekend for all 8 of us in NYC!!!! We will leave in 3 weeks I can't wait!!!

Christmas play at Cooper

On Wednesday Mason had his Christmas play.  Three students from his class were chosen to be on the stage ( Two elves and a Christmas tree).  Here is a picture of (elf Mason) and his 2 best friends in his class.
Here is a picture of the boys who were a part of the rap Christmas song. It was way too funny I wish I knew how to post a video from this part.
Here a few more pictures of the boys during the play...  Mason is usually very shy but he did a great job on stage!!  Mason we are so proud of you!!

This weekend was one of our many family reunions and this is our first picture of all the kiddos together in one picture not to bad for 10 kids.  Yes if you look close only 1 girl and even with one more on the way she will still be the only girl.
Here is a great picture of all my Mom's boys!!  Not too bad we were all wake and smiling can you say Cheese?
The twins- They are just too cute!

Tooth

Today at school Mason had 2 friends dare him to pull his tooth -so he did!  This is his 2nd tooth that he has lost and both have been pulled by him at school.. NICE!!!  This makes my job real easy..

Rainy days!

Painting fun!  Today we used salt dough and made ornaments for the grandparents.  The boys had so much fun cutting out the shapes then painting them ....  Oh what a mess....
I am not sure if there was more paint on the ornament or on Brooks by the time we were done:-)
All the boys smiling for the camera
You should have seen all the flour on the hard woods when it was all over...

Stone Mountain

Last night we went to Stone Mountain for a little fun- Here is a picture of Mason, Brooks and K.  Ready for some 4D fun!!

Family photo can you tell it was a little cold!
Here is a picture of all the kids right before the laser show.  Mason, K, M, R, Brooks, A and R (one of A's friends)
And you can't go long without a little tackle time with these 3!!!
This year Brooks was more than ready to tell Santa just what he wanted for Christmas- nothing like a 3 year old who only is asking for a dirt bike!!!!  yes a real one- hopefully he will settle for a toy one?

We had a lot of fun last night- train ride, santa picture, laser show, and a 4d polar express movie!  Mason was so tired at the end he fell asleep on the train to end the night!

Tonight we carved our pumpkin- Brooks loved it!  I think he would have put his head in if we would have let him.  He kept just wanting to see just how many get more seeds he could get out.  I am not sure if we had more seeds on the floor or on Brooks when we were done..   Mason joined in on the fun also he just did not really want to touch any of the gross stuff inside!

This weekend we went to an adult costume party and as you can see we decided to go as Sarah Palin and John McCain:-) As we were leaving the house Mason looked at us and said " Dad you guys look dumb dressed like that" I don't think he knew what to think of mom and dad dressed in suits- you don't see this very often.

Little Chef's

Tonight the boys helped me prepare dinner.  They love to cook and Brooks loved being able wear his apron- Mason on the other hand had to be bribed just to put it on for the picture!  They had a blast cooking dinner!

Tonight we went bowling with my sister- in-law's family.  It was spirit night for  A and R's school.  The kids enjoyed bowling and playing games.
Here is a picture of Brooks, of course he does not need any help!
Here is Mason and R the "dancing queen and king"
and you can't go home until the "big boys" play a game
But as usual the "big boys" can't play without a little help... Here all the kids were trying to make Brett and Brian mess up.  We all had a blast and are ready to go back for more!
Last weekend we took a little trip to Washington Farms.  It was a little hot but the kiddos had a blast!  We went on a hay ride, played in corn, rode a cow train, and even watched pigs race!  Here is a picture of all the kids except my nieces A, M, and R.
